On Thursday 24th July 2014, spiritans and students of Usa Seminary gathered at Usa Seminary to witness the blessing of the foundation stone of the home for the sick and elderly Spiritans. At around 11 am, Rev Bishop Augustine Shao CSSp (Bishop of Zanzibar) presided over the ceremony on the eve of the second Tanzania provincial chapter. A number of delegates to the chapter, spiritans working in Tanzania, and students of  Usa Seminary participated at the ceremony.
