Attentats à Paris et au Stade de France Nous sommes tous bouleversés et horrifiés par les attentats qui se sont déroulés la nuit dernière à Paris et au Stade de France. Nous prions pour toutes les victimes et leur famille. Notre pensée accompagne aussi les nombreux blessés. Que le Seigneur nous donne la grâce et la force de persévérer afin que nous soyons toujours acteurs de fraternité et de paix. Père Michael MASSAWE  âgé de 55 ans est décédé l e 26 octobre à la Croix Valmer dans sud de la France .  Il est né le 29 septembre 1960 à Keni-Moshi (Tanzanie). Il a fait ses vœux religieux chez les spiritains le 6 juillet 1988 à Magamba (Lushoto) en Tanzanie. Il a été ordonné prêtre à Usa River, Arusha (Tanzanie) le 28 mai 1993. Le P. Mike Massawe est décédé d’une embolie pulmonaire. Conformément à la tradition de la Congrégation du Saint Esprit (Spiritain) dont ses membres sont enterrés dans le pays où ils étaient en mission lors de décès, le Père Mike sera inhumé au cimetière spiritain de Chevilly-Larue, auprès de très nombreux missionnaires de notre Congrégation. Maziko Maziko yatafanyika Ufaransa Ijumaa Novemba 6 saa nane na nusu mchana (saa za Paris sawa na saa kumi na nusu saa za Afrika Mashariki). Kwa desturi za wamisionari wa Roho Mtakatifu maziko hufanyika mahali alipofia. Historia fupi Padre Michael Massawe alizaliwa Septemba 29 mwaka 1960 katika kijiji cha Keni wilayani Rombo (Kilimanjaro). Aliweka nadhiri za kitawa Julai 6, 1988 katika novisia ya Magamba, Lushoto (Tanga). Alipewa daraja la Upadre tarehe 28 mwezi mei 1993 Usa River mjini Arusha.

André LICHTLE, frère ainé de Franz est décédé ce mardi 22 septembre à l'âge de 66 ans.  André, Spiritain, frère, 15 ans au Gabon, 8 ans en Centrafrique, 15 ans en France, au service de la mission dans les tâches matérielles de constructions, d'entretien, d'administration et de comptabilité... nous a quitté après s'être battu pendant six mois. La célébration de ses funérailles aura lieu ce vendredi 25 septembre à 14h30 à Chevilly la Rue    (Seminaire des Missions, 12 rue Père Mazurié, 94550 CHEVILLY LARUE) . Une messe sera dite à la paroiss e Notre Dame du Blanc-Mesnil samedi 3 octobre à 18h30. Samedi 24 octobre, à l'occasion d'une rencontre familiale, nous nous unirons à lui au cours d'une messe à Soultzmatt. "Et maintenant, on fait quoi ? " nous disait-il sur son lit d'hopital, et de conclure: "On continue..." A chacun de continuer à sa façon, car rien n'est définitivement fini!

About six years ago, Chrispin Lutalo had a dream of becoming an entrepreneur. At 35 years now, Lutalo is making money out of garbage business in Kampala, Uganda. The idea of starting a waste management business came in when he left Spiritan seminary in Nairobi in 2006. With patience, self discipline and creativity, Lutalo started his garbage collection in July 2010 on the streets of Kampala with 3 clients only. Lutalo had to travel within and outside Uganda selling his business idea. At a showcase in Rwanda, and latter in Belgium and Netherlands, Lutalo has managed to convince investors of  the viability of his garbage business in Kampala. His creativity, hard work will see his business growing in Uganda. Today, Waste Masters Limited employs 16 people has 3 trucks for collecting garbage. A 3D simulation of the new Dar es Salaam Rapid Transit (DART) will give you an idea of how the new bus transport system will look like. The new system is aimed at easing traffic jams, improve safety for all road users, transport people efficiently and on a timed manner.
